People are invited to stop by for a free ice cream sundae on July 20 at North Northfield United Methodist Church, located at Sanders and Dundee in Northbrook.

The event, which will help everyone enjoy the summer, will begin at about 11:10 a.m. following the Sunday morning church service. The ice cream and other baked goods will be served outside, or in the church’s fellowship hall if the weather is inclement. The public is of course also invited to attend the church service, which begins at 10 a.m.
