Thinking about and preparing for a crisis or long-term illness and end-of-life care in advance can reduce anxiety, guilty and uncertainty associated with a loved one or stranger making important decisions for us. The Jewish Healing Network of Chicago (JHNC), in cooperation with Temple Jeremiah, will open the door for families to begin discussing these emotionally charged issues at the program, “Giving the Gift of Peace of Mind: Who Will Make Your Medical Choices If You Cannot,” at 7:00 p.m., Mon., Dec. 1 at Temple Jeremiah, 937 Happ Road, Northfield.
