Old-fashioned fun at Family Day
Craig McLaughlin, 8, of Oak Brook lets a marble fly. He was visiting his grandparents, who are a part of the Historical Society.

School was in session at Deerfield's Little Red School House July 13 for the Deerfield Historical Society's Family Day.

Children listened to stories, ate ice cream and played games before heading into the schoolhouse for a lesson involving the alphabet.

Bob Gand, Lana Rae and Friends from the Village Music Store were on hand to play music for all the visitors.
