Dan Gordon, team leader for Whole Foods Market Deerfield presented a check for $3,780.55 to Lake Bluff Open Lands Association May 13.

The money was raised on April 16 during Whole Foods' 5% day. Five percent of all store proceeds that day was donated to LBOLA and customers were able to meet and talk with some of the organization's volunteers. LBOLA president Larry McCotter said the money will go toward openlands restoration in the Lake Bluff area.
