Sans white rabbit and top hat, Magician Gary Kantor came to the Wilmott School after school program on March 14 to teach kids a few basic magic tricks.

The Walden Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization welcomed students and their families to the family fun night on March 7.

Dozens of families gathered in Central School's gymnasium on Jan. 25 to see a presentation by Mad Science of Deerfield. After learning about the wonders of science, families were welcome to experiment on their own at various stations around the gym.

As families wandered through the hallways of Walden Elementary School on the morning of Jan. 17, the aroma of fresh pancakes and sausage filled the air. Teachers and Parent Teacher Organization members were busy mixing pancake batter and heating up griddles for hungry families at the PTO sponsored pancake breakfast.

Deerfield School districts called off school on Dec. 5 for local elementary, junior high and high schools due to the five to six inches of snow the area received in the Dec. 4 storm.
