Slap on the skates and take care not to fall. Local park districts are setting up outdoor skating rinks for residents to practice their best double-loops during this winter season.
We’ve gathered rink information in the North Shore and Lake County for this year's ice skating season. If you know of any rinks we’ve skipped, leave a comment at the bottom of the page.
Plan on taking photos of all the twirling or careful skating? Share your photos in a gallery.
And if you want to go sledding, check out our guide to sledding hills.
