The Central School Spartans Girls Volleyball Team set themselves up for one of the most successful seasons ever in the history of Central School Athletics. Under the direction of their coach, Nick Tabic, the girls ended up with an impressive 14 and 0 record. Team members included Emmy Friedler,Becca Goldman,Monique Maman, Ari Richman, Alexa Rindaldi, Caroline Reilly,Liza Ross, Jessie Schreier, Lily Schroeder, Katie Shade, Charlotte Stender,and Haley Weiss. They placed first in the North Suburban Independent Conference. The 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Team under the direction of coach, Lisa Matthew, only lost one game all season and also made it to the NSIC finals.
New Trier freshman rallied together Oct. 3, decked out in the school colors, before the homecoming football game against the Evanston Wildkits.
New Trier High School students at the Winnetka campus were treated to more than the cafeteria offerings during lunchtime on Oct. 3.
Hot dogs, pizza and ice cream joined with live music, dancing and games at the annual Central School Picnic, hosted by the Glencoe Parent/Teacher Organization.
Eating sandwiches, listening to stories and making crafts, 28 kindergarteners stopped by the Glencoe Public Library Aug. 27 for a school year kick-off.
The field may have been muddy after rainy weather June 5, but the sun broke through the clouds for Central School's Field Day.
