Experience first hand what life was like in a Civil War camp as our Civil War re-enactors take you on a candle light tour of Confederate and Union camps during our Civil War Living History Days event.

Candle Light Civil War Camp Tours will take place on Saturday, July 26 from 7-8:30 p.m. Meet and talk with the people who bring our history to life and have the rare opportunity to see and touch authentic Civil War period items.

The cost is $6.50/person for park district residents and $8.13 for nonresidents. Registration is going on now at Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave. or online at www.glenviewparks.org. Call 847-299-6096 for information.
