    • Car lovers flock to Glen for North Shore car show

    Gary Moss of Wilmette takes a look at a 2002 Mustang.

    Area car enthusiasts flocked to Navy Park in the Glen Town Center from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 20 for the North Shore Car Show.

    Featuring classic, vintage and a NASCAR simulator, the car show was hosted by the Glen Town Center and Star Events of Chicago. The show will be held again on the third Sunday in August. Visitors and assigned judges had the opportunity to vote for their favorite car to determine the winners in a variety of categories of the show.
