On May 10, the Glenview Park District Park Board of Commissioners broke ground on the next phase of Community Park West, 1001 Zenith Drive.

Veterans and their families formed a crowd outside the Glenview Hangar One Naval Air Station Museum on Veterans Day to pay tribute to veterans young and old alike.

The site of the Glenview Freedom Memorial, at Gallery Park off of Patriot Boulevard, was dedicated on the 6th anniversary of 9/11. The memorial, currently under construction, will honor all the men and women fighting for the United States -- past, present and future.
