The YOUth Make a Difference 5K Run/Walk was held June 29 to benefit Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook.

Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville saw a massive influx of happy faces June 11, most of them fitting the "55 or better" age group.

The OLPHun Run 5k race and walkathon was held May 4, drawing more than 1,200 participants according to a count from race director John Holthaus.
