The newly-renovated Willow Park, off of Willow and Wagner roads in Northfield, has another tree as of April 25. Officials, residents and the Sunset Ridge fourth grade class planted a Baldcypress in honor of Arbor Day. This is the 23rd year the Village of Northfield has been named a "Tree City USA."

Wagner Farm hosted its annual Eggstravaganza March 15. The brightly colored eggs dotted the lawn, awaiting to be put in baskets.

Christmas is just around the corner and Winnetka residents have festively decked out their houses in celebration. Some people stick to the less is more idea while others adhere to the "Home Improvement" character Tim the Tool Man Taylor's adage: "More power!"

Santa Claus, age approx. 1,743, of the North Pole stopped in at Winter Wonderland at the Glen Town Center Dec. 16 to pose for pictures with pets.
