A severe thunderstorm July 10 knocked out power lines at the intersection of Pfingsten and West Lake in Glenview.

The site of the Glenview Freedom Memorial, at Gallery Park off of Patriot Boulevard, was dedicated on the 6th anniversary of 9/11. The memorial, currently under construction, will honor all the men and women fighting for the United States -- past, present and future.

The Glenview Fire Department responded to a fire at a mobile home Saturday, Sept. 1.
