American Youth Soccer Organization team the Glenview Storm stopped by the Wesley Child Care Center for Bike Day.

With paddles and canoes strapped to the tops of their cars, people from all over the country and all corners of Illinois headed to the Oak Spring Road Canoe Launch in Libertyville, Ill. for the 51st Annual Des Plaines River Canoe Marathon.

Inclement weather forced the postponement of the Glencoe Winter Carnival of Jan. 19, but conditions were perfect for cold weather fun at the Watts Ice Center on the rescheduled date Feb. 10.

The first snowfall of the year meant it was time to break out the snowsuits, sleds and snowboards for local kids. Right after school on Dec. 5, kids rushed out to Flick Park for some downhill fun. The outdoor skating rink is not yet open.
