GardenABCs.com, a new, locally produced website, is helping educators, parents and local advocates start and maintain school and community gardens.

Registration has begun for Tease Workout’s summer/fall session which runs August 17 through October 11. Tease Workout’s Signature Pilates & Pole Dancing classes are held in eight-week sessions; each session includes eight classes (one class per week on a designated time and day). Each Signature Workout runs 90 minutes. There are seven levels through which students can advance. All students, regardless of previous experience or training, begin at level one. To move to the next level, the previous levels must first be successfully completed.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch until Friday afternoon as a sluggish cold front moves through the area. The front will provide the focus for showers and thunderstorms that could produce heavy downpours in locations where the ground is saturated from recent rains.
