Dear neighbors,
Debbi Tepper passed away on May 29th, leaving her husband George and children Brandon and Jamie behind. George has Polycystic Kidney Disease and is on dialysis while awaiting a second kidney transplant. Already burdened with extensive medical expenses before this tragedy, the Teppers are now facing foreclosure of their home.
Friends, relatives and neighbors are pulling together in an effort to save their home and cover George's medical expenses. In this regard, we are holding a fundraiser, Tepperfest, next Sunday, July 6, 2008 from 12PM-4PM at the Village of Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center.
Tickets are $5 for adults -- children under 5 are free. There will be raffles, auctions, live music, food, emergency vehicles, a meet and greet with a police department canine and more! All proceeds will benefit the Tepper family.
