A stretch of Sheridan Road in the heart of Highland Park was closed off June 28 and 29 to welcome more than 150 craftspeople and artisans from the local area and across the country to display and sell their work.

Such was the case Feb. 26 when after another heavy overnight snowstorm, workers were outside getting the job done.

Despite a steadily increasing drizzle, a crowd of people gathered in the Buhai Plaza of Port Clinton in Highland Park on Nov. 17 for a ceremony to turn on the city's holiday lights, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.

The second annual Highwood Harvest Days and Sidewalk Sale took place over the weekend of Sept. 28-30. Attractions included pony and train rides, a petting zoo, face painting, games, music, pumpkin painting, food vendors and more.
