On the field in China, against the toughest teams in the world, in the most physically demanding situations, the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team can count on one confident and level-headed member to keep them battling for gold at the Olympics this August.
Chris Amann, a sports medicine physician at Lake Forest Hospital, is the team's official doctor, whose job will be to keep the athletes in peak performing condition and tend to injuries they receive on and off the field.
