Sherwood School students in Highland Park were entertained Sept. 22 by Inspector Iwannano. The program reinforced the six pillars of the school’s Character Counts program: respect, trustworthiness, caring, responsibility, fairness and good citizenship.

Last summer I saw a squirrel in the park wearing a red collar. For a while I saw him every few days around the same area. Everybody thought I was seeing something else – it was injured or had paint on it or something.

Students at their first fencing class probably didn’t anticipate that they would be sparring with one another before nights end, but after being shown a few of the basics, the young students were given swords and tossed into the ring.
