More than 50 locals flocked to Ryerson Woods Oct. 12 for the forest preserve's fall festival celebration.

More than 85 area golfers hit the links at Steeple Chase Golf Club in Mundelein Sept. 25 in support of the Green Oaks – Libertyville – Mundelein – Vernon Hills Chamber of Commerce.

Despite the rainy conditions Saturday Sept. 13, locals flocked to a large tent at the corner of Church Street and Milwaukee Avenue for the Mainstreet Libertyville Street Dance 2008.

District 70 Adler Park School in Libertyville celebrated the first week of another school year with its annual barbecue.

Goose dropping was popular once again in Libertyville August 23, as more than 1,000 people turned out to enjoy the live music, food, drink, carnival games and fireworks display at the third annual Goose Is Loose Festival. But most of all they came to see the Goose Dropping.

Libertyville experienced a new type of shopping August 21 as MainStreet Libertyville sponsored "Sips of Summer."
