District 70 Adler Park School in Libertyville celebrated the first week of another school year with its annual barbecue.

Shoppers converged on Grace Lutheran Church in Libertyville August 8 for the opening day of the Aimee Rick Memorial Rummage Sale.

August 6 marked the 100th year that Lake Forest Day has been celebrated, and residents of the city and friends from neighboring communities turned out in droves for the festivities.

Libertyville High School seniors sweated through four years of studies to earn their high school diplomas, but only needed to sweat through 90 minutes of ceremony to take those diplomas home.

Students at Libertyville High School took advantage of an offer to undergo free electrocardiogram tests offered by the Max Schewitz Foundation Feb. 28 as part of the Young Hearts for Life cardiac screening program.
