AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS POST #489 TO HOLD 2ND ANNUAL POKER RUN
The American Legion Riders, Post #489, Yorkville, IL will hold it's second annual Poker Run on Sunday, July 27th. The run will start and end at the Legion Hall, (1 mile east of the Rt 47 & Rt 34 intersection) on Rt 34.
Sign in starts at 11:00 am, with first bike (or vehicle) out at noon. All types of motorcycles, vehicles are welcome to attend, rain or shine.
Following the 90 mile run, there will be great food, many door prizes, and raffle prizes. Awards will be given for the best poker hands. There will also be music provided. After the awards are given, there will be an American Flag Disposal ceremony in the parking lot of the Legion. The American Legion squad will do the ceremony. Please feel free to bring your old flags for disposal. If you have not seen a proper ceremony, it is very touching experience.
The American Legion Riders are a group of motorcycle riders who are dedicated to contributing to many local organizations and Veteran groups.
