I was pulled in from the first page and just kept on going. This books relays the story in a manner that everyone can understand. Kudos!
"It was like riding a bicycle over ski moguls," said Rondi Stickney of Yorkville after she and her teammates finished a 3-mile trek through Silver Springs wooded trails.
They swam. They bicycled. The ran. They huffed and puffed around Oswego East High School. Most of them finished with a smile and lots of encouragement from parents, principals and other Oswego school personnel.
Participants in the Lower Fox Valley Relay for Life were undaunted as brief but heavy rains forced them into the Sandwich High School gymnasium as the event began around 6:30 p.m. on June 1.
