Mundelein High School celebrated its homecoming football game Sept. 26 with a pep rally assembly and a parade through the village down Hawley Street.

With paddles and canoes strapped to the tops of their cars, people from all over the country and all corners of Illinois headed to the Oak Spring Road Canoe Launch in Libertyville, Ill. for the 51st Annual Des Plaines River Canoe Marathon.

Austin's Saloon and Eatery welcomed football lovers on Superbowl Sunday to watch the game on one of many televisions while enjoying food and drinks. Game watchers were treated to drink specials, snack buffet and chili bar.

The Mundelein Police Department brought together community members for a good cause Nov. 4. At Lakeside Lanes, the bowl, food, fun and charity were top priority for the event to benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run and the Libertyville Stars Special Olympics Swim Team.
