Get ‘DWTS’ ready with Park District's new dance programs

Feel confident, like you’re ready for “Dancing with the Stars” the next time you take to the dance floor with Mundelein Park District’s NEW Social Dance Class. This fun, energizing, get-fit class for adult beginners debuts on Saturday, December 13 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Mundelein Community Center.

Thanksgiving is National Family History Day

Celebrating holidays with family members provides an opportunity to share more than just turkey and stuffing. This year the Lake County Health Department/Community Health Center joins the Office of the Surgeon General in declaring Thanksgiving to be “National Family History Day.” The Health Department encourages families to talk about and write down health problems that seem to run in their families as they gather to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
