The Vision For Tomorrow Foundation, a Deerfield based organization which helps parents, teachers and medical professionals learn more about eye conditions that cause low vision, hosted "Family Fun Days" August 23 and 24 at Joy of the Game Basketball in Deerfield.
A group of more than 150 kids got a chance to show off their speed at the Flying Feet Kids Fun Run in Glenview July 26.
The Highland Park Senior Center, in cooperation with the Park District of Highland Park, presented its first "Breakfast at the Beach" on June 13.
Wescott and Willowbrook Schools held their annual Field Day events on June 6, 2008. Students had the opportunity to participate in numerous sports, track and relay events, jump roping, basketball, ring and bean bag toss, golf, obstacle courses, and more! Field Days were organized by physical education teachers Denise Zunker and Roy Grober (Wescott) and Paul Szerszen and Debbie Simek (Willowbrook).
