Willowbrook students put the books down early Friday afternoon to throw on their costumes and celebrate Halloween. Students and teachers marched in the Halloween parade at 2:15 p.m. to show off their costumes to residents and parents before congregating back at the school for classroom parties in celebration of the spookiest holiday of all.
This is my aunt's dog Mo Joe, but we couldn't wait to dress him up once we saw what he was going to be for Halloween.
Spidermen, princesses, pumpkins and witches gathered at the Glencoe Community Center, 999 Green Bay Road, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 23 for a night filled with Halloween games, entertainment and of course, candy.

The newly-renovated Willow Park, off of Willow and Wagner roads in Northfield, has another tree as of April 25. Officials, residents and the Sunset Ridge fourth grade class planted a Baldcypress in honor of Arbor Day. This is the 23rd year the Village of Northfield has been named a "Tree City USA."
