Vaughn on suicide watch

The Oswego man accused of murdering his wife and three children has been placed on a suicide watch in the Will County Jail, authorities said Thursday, after 32-year-old Christopher Vaughn made his first court appearance.

During the brief hearing, Will County prosecutors dropped four of the eight murder counts filed against Vaughn, while defense attorneys said he would plead not guilty to the four remaining charges.
