My name is Heather Leszczewicz and I’m a Content Specialist for NeighborhoodCircle.com. Just so you know, my last name is a lot easier to say than it looks: Lez-a-witz.
I'm Illinois born and bred, pretty proud of my home state although I also have a love for our Northern neighbor.
I have a B.A. in journalism from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. For the last year and a half, I worked for OnMilwaukee.com, a daily online magazine, covering local entertainment, arts and news.
Personally, I find that the Internet is where the field of journalism is heading. All the information and news that a person needs is on the Internet, with a few taps on the keyboard and a click of the mouse, the answers are available.
NeighborhoodCircle.com is helping to create an online community geared towards interacting with the public and vice versa. It’s the next step in newsgathering and I am glad to be a part of it.
