A group of more than 150 kids got a chance to show off their speed at the Flying Feet Kids Fun Run in Glenview July 26.

With paddles and canoes strapped to the tops of their cars, people from all over the country and all corners of Illinois headed to the Oak Spring Road Canoe Launch in Libertyville, Ill. for the 51st Annual Des Plaines River Canoe Marathon.

Sunday Sept. 23 runners took to the Winnetka streets for the 35th Annual Winnetka Distance Run. Runners had the chance to run either a 5k or a 10k race.
