Proposals Sought for Social Service Funding

New Trier Township is seeking funding proposals from non-profit, non-sectarian human service agencies interested in receiving Fiscal Year 2010 funding from the Township. Each year New Trier Township provides grants to non-profit agencies that provide programs that promote the economic and social well-being of individuals and families in New Trier Township. Applications are reviewed through a formal funding process coordinated by the Township’s Volunteer Advisory Committees that are appointed by the New Trier Township Board. Agencies must meet certain eligibility requirements and address one or more of the funding targets which are: Individuals and Families in Crisis, Developmental Disabilities Services, Human Services, Mental Health Services, Senior Services, and Youth Drop-In Services.
